Michael J. Cunningham-1861 Father 1938
Michael J. Cunningham was born in Illinois, the son of James Cunningham and Bridget Ring, buried a few feet away. He was a long-time principal in the Joliet schools; the M. J. Cunningham elementary school in Joliet is named for him. He was married to Margaret Boylan, whose parents John Boylan and Bridget Slattery are also buried in St. Patrick's.
