Note: John was one of the earliest settlers of Naperville, a member of the party that in 1831 traveled with Captain Joseph Naper from Ashtabula county, OH, to Chicago via the vessel Telegraph. His stone is broken and laying flat on the ground. There is a carving of a tree with a broken limb on the stone.
