Jonathan A. LONG: Born September 25, 1842. Resided in Penn Township, Union County, PA with his parents and siblings during the 1850 census. Moved with his family after this census. Jonathan was a private in Company F, 92nd Illinois Mounted Infantry Volunteers. Jonathan Long died January 15, 1916 in Pine Creek Township, Ogle County, IL. The tombstone is a government tombstone. I found a small American flag, propped it up beside my great grandfather's tombstone and took this photo.
