From The Daily Herald:
"Naperville man dies after crash

Friends and family teased Tom Yazvac about his affinity for Naperville.

“He loved it here; we used to call him the ambassador of Naperville,” his wife, Angela, said Tuesday. “He’d tell everybody how great it was to live here.”

The 33-year-old Yazvac was pronounced dead Tuesday morning at Naperville’s Edward Hospital after a traffic accident just before 6:30 a.m. in Bolingbrook.

Investigators don’t believe the impact of the crash was enough to mortally wound him. An autopsy is scheduled at the DuPage County coroner’s office, and an inquest will be at a later date.

Angela Yazvac said her husband had no illnesses.

“He left today healthy and happy and gave his family a kiss goodbye,” she said. “And we won’t see him again.”

Tom Yazvac worked as a salesman for UPS and came to the Chicago area after graduating from the University of Iowa. He met his future bride in 2001 and married her a year later. The couple has twin 18-month-old daughters, Gabrielle and Ashley, as well as a 2-month-old son, Tommy.

“I blame the twins on him,” his wife said. “He’s a twin, too, and he wanted twins so badly and he wished so much that we’d have twins.”

Bolingbrook police Lt. Tom Ross said Tom Yazvac’s car was traveling south on Weber Road near the intersection of 115th Street when it crossed into the northbound lanes and grazed a car before careening off the road and coming to rest in a field.

The intersection was shut for about an hour, and traffic in both directions was able to move using only one lane.

Angela Yazvac said police told her witnesses saw her husband slumped over the wheel as the car began veering across the road.

“He was a one-of-a-kind person, and everyone who knew him just loved him,” his wife said. “He was always so positive and wonderful with his family.”
Funeral arrangements are pending."
