FATHER
JOHN S. STEVENS
DIED
MAY 1, 1872
AGED
[illegible]
STEVENS
Note: The Stevens monument originally consisted of 2 tall obelisk-like stones set into a base. John's stone is still set into the base on the left side of the stone. The other stone, presumably that of his wife, is broken off from the base, leaning against it. The inscription side is face down so cannot read it.
