James Kelly, from Aux Sable Township, dates, 1827 to 1883, County Meath, Ireland, arrived Grundy County 1847. Married 1870 to Margaret Gorman,1843 to 1916, from Queens County, Ireland, who arrived 1865 with mother Kitty Gorman, Jerimiah "Jere", Gorman (Raymond, Il) and an unknown sister who married and moved to Iowa.
