Battaglia mausoleum

There is a statue of St. Michael the Archangel on the roof with the words, "S. MICHELE ARC.", at the base of the statue. Above the door are the words, "BATTAGLIA" and the date, "1929". There are 2 stone benches flanking the steps and 2 stone urns flanking the entrance (neither were planted at the time of my visit). Inside there is room for 8 internments, 4 on each side, and a stained glass window of the Holy Family. The inside appears to be well kept as if it is still visited from time to time.

Internments:
The 4 crypts on the left side of the mausoleum appear to be empty. On the right, from top to bottom:
1. Empty
2. QUI RIPOSA
SALVATORE BATTAGLIA
MORTA 17 NOV 1950
DI ANNI 81
3. QUI RIPOSA
IGNAZIA BATTAGLIA
MORTA 13 GIU. 1928
DI ANNI 62
4. There is a brass plate on the crypt- can't tell if it is engraved, but don't think so.
