1836-1924 Masonic symbol
(In the circle by the Tinker-Dorr Scuplture. Tinker had built in 1965 what is now called, the Tinker Cottage on Kent Creek in Rockford, IL. Per missonary records he was born 12/31/1836 in Hawaii but some census listed NY, the Sandwich Islands, Hanover, as well as Hawaii. Parents Rev. Rubin and Mary Tinker of MA or CT. In 1870, he 1st Married Mary Dorr Manny, widow of John H Manny of the Manny Reapers. In 1904, he 2nd married his 1st wife's neice, Jessie Dorr Hurd.
