R.H. McClintock, Sgt., Co. B, 84 Ill. Inf. He enlisted on 31 July 1862 and died from wounds received in battle in Sep 1863. Richard was mortally wounded at the Battle of Chicamaugua, Tennessee. He told his companions to leave him and see to their own safety. After the battle his body was never found or recovered. His remains are probably somewhere on the battle field. While the markers of his death are located in Foster's Point Cemetery his body is not.
