Note: There is a musical staff above Marcia's inscription. There is an Illinois State Police insignia and a 32nd degree mason symbol on James's side of the stone. There are also an American Legion marker and a Plainfield Volunteer fire department marker by the stone. There is an image of flying pheasants on the back of the stone.
