He served: IL 2S LT in the 77th Arty. 1 Cav. Div.(AM) in Vietnam SS-BSM-PH. He died by small arms fire during Operation TOan Thang III while serving as a Field Artillery Unit Commander with Battery C of the 1st Battalion.
