Walker Mausoleum
Mausoleum contains 6 crypts, 3 on each side. The door is verdigris bronze with a laurel wreath,staff and ribbon motif. There is a clear glass-block window at the back. The 2 granite urns beside the bottom step are empty and there is quite a bit of dirt and debris on the floor inside as if no one has visited in some time. The following internments were determined by peering inside the door:
Left Side of mausoleum:
1. Top - Empty
2. Middle - Empty
3. Bottom - ELIZABETH H. WALKER
MARCH 28 1864 - DECEMBER ?. ???? [can't read day or year; inscription is carved directly in the marble]
Right side of mausoleum:
1a. Top left: [bronze plaque]
KATHRYN E. WALKER
OCTOBER 2, 1907 - OCTOBER 12, 1988
1b. Top right: [bronze plaque]
RONALD G. WALKER
JULY 18, 1934 - APRIL 8, 1992
2. Middle: [inscription is carved directly in the marble]
SIDNEY V. WALKER
1893 - 1947 [birth year may be 1893 or 1895]
3. Bottom: [inscription is carved directly in the marble]
GEORGE WASHINGTON WALKER
NOVEMBER 6, 1862 - AUGUST 8, 1926
