Alexander Wilday was the son of Thomas and Eleanor (Will) Wilday. He married Tilitha Drinkwater on Dec 20, 1849 in Cass County, Illinois. Together they had Sarah Ellen Wilday(1851-1935), Martha J Wilday(1854-1913) and Thomas J Wilday(1854-1884). Alexander Wilday worked as a both a miller and a farmer in Morgan County for many years.
