marion fannie was born in vinivitsa Ukraine april of 1871 married in 1888 in vinivitsa and immigrated to Chicago Illinois in 1892 with her first of 7 children,husband,and another relation her mother or mother in law.She baked,cooked,cleaned sewed,had interests in real estate properties,attended her brother's 20th wedding anniv celebration in 1920,and lived a full life.Her spouse joseph Brownstein born in dec. 12,1876 according to his first born's correction on his death certificate making him die at the age of 49 not 53.Joseph came to Chicago with wife and young infant son and swept floors making one dollar a week. Eventually he began buying and selling his own home to earn enough money to have two locations to manufacture and own a shoe and boot manufacturing co. called Brownstein vogue shoe co.Located on both Roosevelt rd. and division st.the shoe co. provided for food always on the table,dressed children,and happiness under one roof.
