Mortimer was a dentist in Chicago and outlived his wife and in his latrer years became boyfriend to a widower.He also owned a long haired duchhund (hotdog shaped) dog.He was a father and grandfather in life.Was buried with his wife and was buried in a plain coffin nothing fancy.
