Lula TAYLOR

Prairie Rest, Delavan Cemetery
Tazewell County,
Illinois

Lula was one of three children (Harry, James, Lula) born to George Clarence Burrell and Leora Monzelle Rawlings Burrell. Born on September 23 1908 and died in 1937 due to complications of surgery for her gall bladder. It was also said she was finally pregnant after many years of trying. Her husband was Samuel Taylor. She is buried in the Taylor plot, but Sam Taylor married someone else after her death and is buried elsewhere. Her brother Harry is buried in Prairie Rest Cemetery. Her other brother James Robert Burrell is buried in Oleo Cemetery, Eureka Illinois. Lula and my grandmother Blanche were great friends, sharing the same birthday (different years).
