Emma was born in 1858(baptized 4 Dec) in Cinderford, Gloucestershire, England. Her parents were John Brown and Sarah Woodward. Emma married William Beddington 20 Apr 1878. They had three children, William (who died as an infant), Mary and Harry. Emma and Wm.,and Mary came to the US in 1884 where Harry was born and William died in a mining accident. Emma married George Rigby and they had six childen. Dewey and Francis were their youngest two who died as infants. Emma died 24 Apr 1928 in Joliet.
